About the Role

As a Risk Management Professional at WSP India, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice to Project and Programme Managers on risk management processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • • Leading the identification of risks by analyzing background information and lessons learned from previous projects.

  • • Conducting research on key stakeholders prior to risk workshops to ensure appropriate risks are captured.

  • • Organizing and facilitating risk workshops with team members and stakeholders to form the risk register.

  • • Capturing risks across multiple projects using various techniques like brainstorming workshops and one-on-one interviews.

  • • Providing independent challenge during risk workshops/reviews based on your experience.

  • • Ensuring all necessary information is clearly captured in the Risk Register including owners, actions, and risk mitigation actions.

  • • Defining project risk appetite and conducting Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis and Programme Schedule Risk Analysis using industry-recognized software.

  • • Reviewing analysis outputs and making recommendations to key stakeholders on potential delays and cost increases.

  • • Identifying and reporting risk trends, highlighting top risks, and actively monitoring risks to reduce the overall risk profile.

  • • Working within tight deadlines to produce quality reports and analyses relating to project risks.

  • • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Risk Management Department.
  • Qualifications required for this role include:

  • • 8 to 12 years of experience in risk management in a project execution environment.

  • • Experience in developing QSRA models.

  • • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • • Professional qualifications such as IRM Diploma/Certificate, APM Risk Certificate, PMI-RMP, or similar are advantageous.

  • • Membership of risk management/project management professional bodies like IRM/APM is preferred.
