About the Role

Your role as the Managing Director for Chief Product Office (IS) India at State Street involves leading, managing, and developing various teams focusing on Product Strategy, Product Advocacy, Product Content Strategy & Warehousing, Regulatory Intelligence, and Product related governance. Reporting directly to the ChiefofStaff of the Global Chief Product Office (CPO) within Investment Services (IS) and functionally accountable to the India Head of Investment Services Product and Commercial Office & GCF, you will play a crucial role in managing, developing, and commercializing products and solutions for Investment Services with local leadership oversight in India.

In this role based in either Hyderabad or Mumbai, your responsibilities will include:

  • • Leading structured market analysis to identify trends, shifts, and opportunities, informing strategic product decisions

  • • Conducting productfocused competitive intelligence and translating insights into clear implications for product strategy

  • • Developing product business cases supported by financial modeling

  • • Translating market, regulatory, and client insights into productled advocacy positions

  • • Establishing and overseeing the production of strategic, productled research and regulatory insights

  • • Driving strategy and execution for an enterprise platform that houses product content and thought leadership assets

  • • Defining, standardizing, and publishing a model for regulatory horizon scanning

  • • Leading process reengineering initiatives to simplify workflows and improve efficiency

  • • Overseeing governance and execution of executive forums and new business/product approvals

  • • Managing a highperforming multidisciplinary team and partnering effectively with stakeholders
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • Seasoned leader with extensive product experience and proactive strategic leadership skills

  • • Strategic thinker with financial acumen, global perspective, and excellent interpersonal skills

  • • Demonstrated experience in problem assessment, resolution, and collaborative problemsolving

  • • Strong communication skills and deep understanding of competitive landscape and client needs

  • • Track record in strategic planning and product management supporting revenue generation

  • • Ability to think strategically, manage complexity, and prioritize effectively

  • • Over 18 years of total work experience and 10+ years of relevant business/product experience

  • • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
