Your key responsibilities

The candidate is expected to;

• Be a hands-on engineering lead involved in analysis, design, design/code reviews, coding and release activities

• champion engineering best practices and guide/mentor team to achieve high performance.

• acquire functional knowledge of the business capability being digitized/re-engineered.

• Drive AI adoption for SDLC as well as solving business problems

**Your skills and experience

Core Engineering**

• Minimum 14 years of IT industry experience with strong hands-on expertise in Java and full-stack development

• Deep knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices architecture , and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., ReactJS)

• Strong experience in databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL) and solid understanding of data modeling, performance optimization

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure) and containerization (Kubernetes, OpenShift)

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, system design, and scalable architecture patterns

• Experience in DevOps and CI/CD practices (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), with focus on automation and reliabilit

• Strong focus on engineering quality (TDD, BDD, automation testing, performance testing)

Hands-on or working knowledge of LLM-based applications and experience of building Agentic AI workflows using Spec Driven development with tools like *OpenSpec etc

Leadership**

• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on leadership approach

• Experience working closely with Business stakeholders, Product Owners, Architects
