Java Developer - Vice President

As a Java Developer - Vice President at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Barclays - Global Technology team by designing, developing, and improving software using various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools to ensure scalable, maintainable, and optimized code. - Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure alignment with business objectives. - Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing, and stay informed about industry technology trends and innovations.

Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Java programming language with expertise in developing and optimizing Java-based applications.
