About the Role

As the Head of Asset Manager Accounting at State Street, you will play a key leadership role within the Global Delivery India team and the India Fund Accounting & Administration management team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure positive and consistent service delivery and client outcomes for US & European clients. You will be accountable for implementing strategy and delivery, ensuring timeliness and accuracy across all functions, and driving continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and Risk Excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Implementing strategy and delivery for Asset Manager Accounting

  • • Ensuring services meet or exceed State Street Standards globally

  • • Directly accountable for production and deliverables by State Street India

  • • Developing, monitoring, and actioning business plans and budgets

  • • Ensuring the business has the right resources for effective operations

  • • Driving continuous improvement and identifying transformation opportunities

  • • Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations

  • • Conducting periodic business reviews and managing associated risks

  • • Proactive expense management in line with the budget
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • 18 years of experience in financial services, with leadership experience in managing large operations

  • • Technical knowledge of fund accounting activities and regulations

  • • Ability to navigate a large, global organization and build effective relationships

  • • Proven leadership skills and experience managing high-performing teams

  • • Experience interfacing at a senior level with Clients, service providers, and Regulators

  • • Track record of achieving financial goals through expense discipline and headcount management

  • • Experience with change management programs and delivering targeted outcomes

  • • Ability to manage, coach, and influence colleagues and virtual team members

  • • Cross-cultural awareness and ability to collaborate globally in an open work environment
