Role Overview:
As the Head of HR Data & Analytics at PayU, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a comprehensive HR analytics strategy. Your main responsibility will be to transform raw HR data into actionable insights by leading a team of HR data analysts. You will work closely with HR business partners, HR COEs, and other enabling functions to establish metrics, reporting frameworks, and predictive models that support strategic workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute the HR Data and Analytics roadmap with clear milestones, success metrics, and alignment to business planning cycles• Partner with HRBPs, COEs, IT, Admin, Finance to identify business problems/questions that can be addressed through people analytics• Lead the organization's HR analytics innovation agenda, evaluating emerging technologies and methodologies• Develop and communicate a compelling vision for data-driven HR that inspires organizational buy-in and adoption• Evaluate, select, and implement advanced HR Analytics platforms and BI solutions, architecting a comprehensive integration ecosystem that transforms workforce data into actionable insights• Develop and manage the HR analytics budget, prioritizing investments that deliver maximum ROI• Establish enterprise-wide HR data architecture strategy aligned with broader organizational data governance initiatives• Drive data literacy across the HR function and broader organization through training programs and change management• Develop comprehensive data governance frameworks, policies, and quality standards for HR data management• Partner with IT, Legal, and Compliance teams to implement robust data privacy and security protocols• Take initiatives to consolidate HR data sources and ensure integrity across all HR systems• Stay current with regulatory developments and industry best practices in HR data governance• Establish the analytics methodology framework that guides the team's approach to solving complex workforce challenges• Serve as the principal analytics advisor to the CHRO and executive team on strategic workforce matters• Design predictive analytics capabilities to forecast talent needs, identify retention risks, and optimize workforce planning• Create an analytics competency model and development roadmap for upskilling the broader HR function• Develop ROI measurement frameworks for major HR programs and initiatives• Translate complex workforce analyses into compelling narratives that drive executive decision-making• Represent the organization externally at analytics conferences and forums to establish thought leadership• Build and lead a high-performing analytics team through effective hiring, coaching, and performance management• Create development pathways and succession plans for analytics talent across the HR function• Establish a consultative service model that positions the HR analytics team as trusted advisors to business leaders• Foster a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and analytical rigor within the team• Develop and mentor future analytics leaders through delegation and stretch assignments• Manage cross-functional relationships with IT, Finance, and business stakeholders to ensure aligned prioritiesQualifications Required:
• 8 years of work experience as an HR Analyst or similar role• Master's in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field• Proven experience as an HR Data Analyst or similar role, with expertise in HR data analysis• In-depth knowledge of HR processes, metrics, and KPIs• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex HR data sets• Proficiency in using data analysis tools and programming languages, such as Excel, R, Python, SQL, or other statistical software• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms, to create compelling dashboards and reports• Familiarity with HRIS systems and their data structures, including data extraction and manipulation• HR certifications or additional training in data analysis or statistics is a plus• Experience in the HR domain or working closely with HR stakeholders is preferred Role Overview:As the Head of HR Data & Analytics at PayU, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a comprehensive HR analytics strategy.
