About the Role

As the Head of Administration and Finance at our leading Real Estate developer in GUYANA, your role is crucial in overseeing the overall finance and administration functions. Your responsibilities include:

  • • Business Integration: You will supervise and guide multi-functional departments such as Finance, HR, Legal, and Customer Support to streamline business processes effectively.

  • • Strategic Finance: Managing the preparation of Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) and leading the budgeting/forecasting cycles will be a key part of your role.

  • • Risk Management: Facilitating internal and external audits while ensuring strict adherence to company policies for all disbursements and receipts.

  • • Human Capital Management: You will review and propose HR Development plans and manage the end-to-end Performance Management framework.

  • • Executive Reporting: Providing the Board with timely data on revenue and expenditure to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Preferred candidate profile:

  • • Chartered Accountant or a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance.

  • • Minimum 8 years of working experience in real estate accounting and finance, particularly in single or multi-family housing.

  • • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively as a team member with good presentation skills.

  • • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing enhanced financial systems and procedures.

  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, accounting software programs, and network administration.
