We’re now looking for a Head of Engineering to lead our talented engineering teams in India and help shape the future of Talink’s global technology delivery.

🚀 About the Role

As the Head of Engineering, you’ll lead and grow Talink’s engineering capability across multiple technologies and client environments.

You’ll drive engineering excellence, mentor senior technical leaders, and set the vision for scalable, secure, and high-performing software delivery.

This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role — balancing technology direction, people development, and delivery outcomes.

💡 What You’ll Do
• Define and evolve Talink’s engineering vision, frameworks, and standards across diverse technology stacks.
• Lead, coach, and develop Technical Leads and senior engineers, building a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Oversee the technical quality and governance of project delivery, ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Partner with Delivery, Product, Platform, and QA leaders to ensure smooth, cross-functional collaboration.
• Act as the senior technical escalation point for critical challenges and architectural decisions.
• Shape engineering workforce planning and recruitment, ensuring the right mix of capabilities for future growth.
• Identify and adopt emerging technologies and tools that enhance delivery excellence and innovation.

🧠 What We’re Looking For
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in leadership roles.
• Proven ability to build and scale high-performing engineering organizations.
• Deep understanding of modern software development practices, cloud-native architecture, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Strong grasp of Agile and Lean methodologies and delivery in multi-client or consultancy environments.
• Inspirational leadership style — a coach, mentor, and culture-builder.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across geographies and functions.
• Experience of working with distributed global teams is preferred
