About the Role

As the Head of Application Development & Maintenance Services Center of Excellence (ADMS CoE), your role will involve establishing, scaling, and governing the ADMS CoE. Your responsibilities will include solutioning, ensuring delivery excellence, and managing run operations across modern digital engineering stacks. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, and Customers to drive revenue enablement, predictable delivery, modernization outcomes, and foster long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Define the ADMS CoE charter, operating model, and governance framework.

  • • Establish engineering standards across Architecture & design, Secure SDLC, CI/CD & DevSecOps.

  • • Set up reusable accelerators such as templates, starter kits, pipelines, IaC modules, and migration toolkits.

  • • Own the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and establish delivery guardrails.

  • • Own technical solutioning for RFPs/RFIs, including scope, architecture, estimation, staffing, and risks.

  • • Partner with Sales to drive GTM strategy, pricing models, and deal shaping.

  • • Lead POCs/pilots to enhance win-rate and de-risk large deals.

  • • Build reusable GTM assets like case studies, demos, and reference architectures.

  • • Lead discovery workshops, define functional & non-functional requirements, and design end-to-end architectures.

  • • Define modernization roadmaps and phased delivery plans.

  • • Govern delivery across multiple teams/programs ensuring schedule, quality, and cost adherence.

  • • Oversee SDLC execution across build, transition, and run phases.

  • • Establish DevSecOps and SRE practices, including SLOs, error budgets, incident response, and postmortems.

  • • Manage L2/L3 application support, runbooks, and ITSM workflows.

  • • Drive continuous improvement in quality, reliability, and productivity metrics.

  • • Own CoE financials: revenue, margin, utilization, and ROI.

  • • Publish executive dashboards covering delivery health, revenue, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • This role requires 18+ years of experience in software engineering/ADMS, with at least 8-10 years in senior leadership roles. You should have proven experience in setting up or scaling ADMS/Engineering CoEs, strong solutioning and estimation capabilities, and a track record of successful large-program deliveries. Experience in pre-sales support, executive stakeholder management, and managing P&L, margins, and delivery economics is also essential.

    Qualifications:

  • • Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or related field (Preferred).

  • • Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes/DevOps certifications.

  • • Agile/SAFe, Security, or AI/ML certification is a plus.
