About the Role

As a Global Key Account Director at Amcor, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving gross contributions within the assigned geographic scope and product portfolio. Your primary focus will be on identifying and targeting growth opportunities in key segments and products, new market entries, and capacity gap fillings. You will work closely with a sales team to liaise with global and regional customer stakeholders, develop value propositions, and execute sales growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Identify and target growth opportunities linked to focus segments and products

  • • Work with sales team to maximize sales growth opportunities

  • • Develop value propositions and go-to-market plans for target opportunities

  • • Secure alignment with business units on target pricing and margins

  • • Manage account plans and joint business plans for key accounts

  • • Develop strong relationships with key account customers

  • • Coordinate contract renewals and new business opportunities

  • • Drive sustainability initiatives within the product portfolio

  • • Prepare and supervise negotiations and agreements with customers

  • • Appraise sales performance and direct sales programs in the region

  • • Lead, develop, and motivate the sales team to achieve excellence

  • • Implement commercial excellence programs in the sales team
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • University degree in a relevant field, MBA preferred

  • • 10+ years of experience in senior sales roles, with 5+ years in management

  • • Strong track record of growing business and delivering financial results

  • • Ability to deal with multi-layered MNC customers and develop talent

  • • Culturally agile with the ability to interact across cultures

  • • Results-oriented with a strategic account management mindset

  • • Lead from the front and translate strategy into actionable plans

  • • Ability to navigate ambiguity and anticipate proactively
