About the Role

As a Principal Engineer at the company, your role will involve building computer software systems and actively participating in the design process from start to finish. You will be responsible for leading architectural design patterns and decisions to align with the strategic product goals at the enterprise level. Additionally, you will play a critical role in maintaining enterprise product features, handling on-call escalations, triaging, and resolution of issues that may arise. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preventing and investigating production issues effectively

• Building architecture design and ensuring the quality of architecture and design of systems

• Influencing the product roadmap and taking ownership and responsibility over new projects

• Leading code/design reviews to ensure smooth daily operations and accurate planning

• Participating in the entire application lifecycle with a focus on coding and debugging

• Identifying bottlenecks in systems and optimizing performance

• Setting up and maintaining environment configurations and monitoring system health

• Providing training and support to internal teams

• Contributing as a Technical Team Lead by mentoring others, leading sprint planning, delegating work and assignments to team members, and participating in project planning

• Interface with customers and other business stakeholders to deliver software products effectively

Qualifications and Experience required for this role include:

• Minimum of 14 years of related experience in software development or a related field

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or another related field, or equivalent work experience

• Expert knowledge in performance, scalability, distributed architecture, and engineering best practices

• Strong programming skills in an object-oriented language like Java or C#, with proven work experience as a full-stack developer

• Experience with modern Javascript frameworks like React and Angular, HTML, and CSS

• Familiarity with mobile application development

• In-depth understanding of the entire software development process

• Advanced experience developing and deploying applications for Cloud Native Infrastructure

• Experience building applications in microservice architecture with an API-first mindset

• Ability to collaborate effectively within the agile framework with a problem-solving attitude

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead complicated technical projects

• Master's degree in engineering, technology, or a related field

• Experience working with SaaS offerings in the technology and financial industries
