Elastic Compute Architect, Senior Director (IC)

What you will do:

As the Senior Director of Elastic Compute Architecture, you will set the multi-year strategic vision for how Teradata Cloud platform allocates, scales, and governs compute resources across public cloud environments. This is a senior leadership role that combines deep technical authority with organizational accountability—you will define the architecture for Teradata's elastic compute capability while building and developing the team of architects who execute it.

Who you will work with: You will report to the VP of Core Platform Engineering and serve as a peer to engineering directors leading database, storage, and cloud infrastructure domains. You will collaborate extensively with Raj Shukla (AI Engineering), Subhadip B. (Core Engineering), and product leadership under CPO Sumeet Arora. Internally, your team spans geographies including the US, India, EMEA, and APJ. You will interact regularly with customers, partners, and standards bodies to ensure Teradata's compute architecture remains industry-leading.
