About the Role :

This role is a strategic and hands-on leadership position responsible for shaping and delivering the organizations Identity & Access Management (IAM) ecosystem. You will lead the architecture, engineering, and evolution of authentication, authorization, fraud detection, and identity services that sit at the heart of a modern digital banking platform.

Working closely with product, security, and engineering teams, you will define the roadmap for secure and seamless user interactions while ensuring compliance with financial industry standards. The role demands a balance of deep technical expertise and people leadership, where you will guide distributed engineering teams, influence platform decisions, and champion innovations such as zero-trust security and passwordless authentication.

You will also play a critical role in building scalable, resilient systems while fostering a culture of engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation across global teams.

Skills & Experience required :

- Proven experience (10+ years) in software engineering leadership, preferably within financial services or regulated environments

- Strong expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM), authentication, authorization, and fraud systems

- Hands-on knowledge of modern authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and MFA

- Solid programming background, with experience in Java-based ecosystems

- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and secure application architecture

- Experience designing and scaling highly available distributed systems

- Ability to drive architecture decisions and platform strategy in collaboration with senior stakeholders

- Exposure to zero-trust security models and modern identity protection practices

- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional, global engineering teams

- Track record of building high-performing teams, mentoring engineers, and driving engineering best practices

Preferred Experience :

- Familiarity with IAM platforms such as Auth0, Okta, Keycloak, or Ping Identity

- Experience with fraud detection and anomaly detection systems (transactional or behavioral)

- Knowledge of KYC/KYB solutions and regulatory compliance frameworks

- Experience in monitoring, alerting, and security threat detection systems

- Exposure to modular and extensible platform architectures

- Strong inclination toward building frictionless, secure user experiences
