About the Team

EDP (Enterprise Delivery Platform) is a last mile truck delivery and gig delivery platform for Lowes. The team comprises of 40 associates providing solution for truck delivery route planning, truck/gig delivery location capacity planning, destination mapping to source locations, portal to manage/track operational stuff for the delivery and finally an application for driver to use during delivery to deliver items in right sequence with appropriate delivery services.

Job Summary

Lead the enterprise delivery platform engineering team to deliver best-in-class solutions that enable associates to meet customer needs efficiently, optimize operations, and reduce overall delivery costs without compromising the customer experience.

Roles . Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

•Grow talents within the team to build right solutions in EDP

•Mentor next level leaders within the team

•Build succession plan for key contributors

•Understand business requirements and help create roadmap for the team along with technical advancement roadmap

•Ensure there is capacity and estimation process instilled within the team to ensure team is not stretched or starved with work.

•Bring in innovations, and nudge team to come with innovation around business improvement or tech improvement.

Years of Experience

10 years of experience in software engineering or related field

10 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)

5 years of direct team leadership experience leading global technology teams

3 years of experience working closely with senior leadership

3 years of experience managing operational and/or financial budgets, including the managing of third-party vendors and/or software providers

Education Qualification . Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, computer information systems (CIS), engineering, or related field or equivalent years of experience

Primary Skill Sets

•People leadership skills

•Understanding on micro services, mobile app, distributed systems architecture

•Good in problem solving and analytical thinking

•ML model and Data engineering exposure

Secondary Skills (desired)


•Last mile delivery Domain Knowledge
