Role Description :

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Director - Business Development located in Bengaluru. The Associate Director will lead new business development initiatives, develop strategic business plans, and identify growth opportunities. Responsibilities include generating leads, building strong client relationships, negotiating contracts, and managing key accounts. Additionally, the role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to align business goals with market trends and organizational objectives.

Key Resposiblities :

- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute high-level business development strategies to expand our market footprint in B2C and B2B business.


- P&L Management: Take ownership of revenue targets and budgets, ensuring sustainable growth and high ROI on sales initiatives.


- Conduct market research to identify key trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.


Sales & Revenue Growth:


- Drive online course sales and other revenue-generating products in target markets.


- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets.


- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.


- Partnership & Alliance Building: Identify, negotiate, and close large-scale strategic partnerships with educational institutions, government bodies, or corporate entities.


- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a high-performing team of BD Managers and Executives, fostering a culture of accountability, empathy, and excellence.


- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor movements, and regulatory changes within the 2026 global EdTech landscape to pivot strategies effectively.


- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure the "voice of the customer" is integrated into our offerings.

Required Qualification :

- Experience: Minimum 10 years in Business Development/Sales, with at least 5 years specifically in the EdTech sector.


- Education: MBA or Masters degree from a Tier-1 institute is preferred.


- Track Record: Proven history of meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar revenue targets.


- Communication: Exceptional command over verbal and written communication; ability to present to C-suite executives and board members.
