About the Role

Director, Quality Assurance Location: Bangalore, India Experience : 12. years
We are looking for a seasoned Quality Engineering leader to head our Quality Assurance function and drive enterprise-wide quality transformation initiatives.

This leadership role will be responsible for defining quality strategy, scaling global QA teams, implementing automation-first testing practices, and ensuring the successful delivery of highly reliable and scalable products.

Key Responsibilities

  • • Lead and scale a global Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering organization.

  • • Define quality strategy, governance, KPIs, and operational excellence frameworks.

  • • Drive automation modernization initiatives and CI/CD quality integration.

  • • Champion quality engineering practices across UI, API, integration, performance, and infrastructure testing.

  • • Partner with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Executive Leadership teams.

  • • Establish quality gates, release readiness processes, and risk management frameworks.

  • • Lead AI-driven testing and automation initiatives.

  • • Build and mentor high-performing QA leadership teams.

    • Required Experience

  • • 12. years in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.

  • • 7. years managing large QA teams and engineering organizations.

  • • Strong expertise in test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, TestNG).

  • • Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and release management.

  • • Experience with API, performance, security, and integration testing.

  • • Knowledge of AWS, cloud platforms, and hybrid infrastructure environments.

  • • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jira, Postman, Git, and related tools.

  • • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

    • Preferred

  • • Enterprise QA transformation experience.

  • • AI-powered testing and intelligent automation experience.

  • • Experience with large-scale distributed systems.

  • • Programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript.

  • • Experience managing global teams.

    • Education

    Candidates from Tier-1 institutes will be highly preferred:

  • • IIT

  • • NIT

  • • BITS Pilani

    Pay: Up to ₹20,000,000.00 per year

    Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bangalore City, Bengaluru, Karnataka
