About the Role

As the Director, Operations Center and Observability at our company, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, governance, and day-to-day execution of enterprise monitoring, event management, and operational response capabilities. Your role will involve ensuring end-to-end visibility across technology services by implementing a modern observability approach that covers infrastructure, cloud platforms, digital workplace, and supported applications. By combining operational oversight with tool strategy and continuous improvement, you will play a key role in enabling faster issue detection, reducing business disruption, improving service reliability, and strengthening operational resilience. Collaboration with internal technology teams and strategic service partners will be essential to standardize practices, enhance service insight, and establish a more proactive and intelligence-driven operations model.

Key Responsibilities: - Establish and Build the Operations Center Capability: Lead the design and implementation of a new enterprise operations center capability, including processes, governance, tooling alignment, operating model, and response disciplines to ensure real-time service awareness and coordinated incident response. - Advance the Observability Vision and Platform Strategy: Shape and drive the enterprise observability strategy by implementing modern tools, standards, and integrations for end-to-end visibility across various technology services. - Strengthen Reliability Through Insight and Automation: Enhance operational performance by improving signal quality, reducing event noise, expanding automation, and utilizing meaningful service metrics and analytics for faster issue detection and restoration.

  • • Build an Integrated Service Assurance Model: Develop an integrated service assurance model that aligns internal teams and service providers within the defined Product Operating Model to enhance reliability, resilience, and continuous service improvement.
  • Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.

  • • Relevant certifications in IT service management, cloud, reliability engineering, or operational disciplines preferred (e.g., ITIL, SRE).

  • • At least 13+ years of progressive experience in enterprise technology operations, infrastructure, observability, or related functions, with leadership experience in complex environments.

  • • Demonstrated expertise in observability, monitoring, event management, incident response, and enterprise tooling such as ServiceNow.

  • • Experience with enterprise monitoring, observability, event correlation, and ITSM platforms, including integration with ServiceNow.

  • • Strong business acumen, experience in driving automation and continuous improvement, and demonstrated ability to lead through organizational change.

  • • Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, strategic thinking capability, and problem-solving skills.
