About the Role

As a Director of Quality Assurance at Gartner IT, you will lead a team of QA professionals and play a key role in developing test strategies, designing, building, reviewing, executing, and automating test cases. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by implementing a comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering strategy aligned with the company's goals and growth plans. Your responsibilities will include:

  • • Developing and implementing a long-term QA strategy that covers functional, non-functional, performance, and security testing

  • • Establishing and enforcing QA best practices, processes, and standards across teams

  • • Defining and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of QA initiatives

  • • Leading the integration of AI/ML technologies into testing frameworks

  • • Mentoring and developing a high-performing team of QA engineers and automation specialists
  • To qualify for this role, you should have:

  • • 11-16 years of experience in QA, including at least 4 years in a management position

  • • Hands-on exposure to AI-driven testing and familiarity with AI/ML concepts

  • • Experience with automation tools such as Nightwatch, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, JMeter, Cucumber, Appium, Postman, and Report Portal

  • • Strong experience in Java and/or JavaScript for automation scripting

  • • Proficiency in SQL queries and database testing

  • • Experience in leading project teams and coaching direct reports
  • Additionally, you should be a Graduate/Postgraduate in BE/B tech, ME/MTech, or MCA with excellent communication and prioritization skills. You should be able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment. Your desire to improve upon your skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies will be crucial for success in this role.
