About the Role

As the Director of Project Management at Microsoft Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD), you will have the opportunity to lead a global team of strategic sellers, industry experts, engineers, data scientists, architects, consultants, and delivery specialists in providing comprehensive solutions to Microsoft's most strategic customers worldwide. Your role will involve representing GCID in the delivery of large transformational deals, providing executive leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle, and driving the strategy for project delivery aligned with committed outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Lead the delivery of large transformational deals from origination through delivery stabilization

  • • Orchestrate cross-functional, cross-organizational teams and provide customer-facing executive leadership

  • • Drive the strategy for project delivery aligned with committed project outcomes

  • • Develop robust project plans to ensure predictable delivery outcomes

  • • Orchestrate the initiation and mobilization of delivery teams

  • • Ensure alignment and achieve expected delivery outcomes

  • • Accountable for the financial performance of the deal including Azure Consumed Revenue (ACR), ISD revenue, and gross margin

  • • Ensure effective quality management and change control techniques across the delivery cycle

  • • Anchor key relationships with internal and external stakeholders through strategic communications
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • Bachelor's Degree in a related field AND 20+ years of experience in project management OR equivalent experience
  • Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • • Experience in driving large transformational projects as CTO/CIO or delivery leader at a technology/IT services organization

  • • Project Management Professional (PMP) and Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification

  • • 8+ years of financial management experience

  • • Agile certification such as Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Professional Scrum Master One (PSM1) certification

  • • Experience in creating and managing intellectual property (IP) or publications
