About the Role

We are looking for a Director of Engineering (Implementation . Delivery) to lead the

technical execution of complex enterprise implementations. This role sits at the

intersection of architecture, delivery excellence, and people leadership, ensuring scalable,

high-quality solutions for global customers.You will build the engineering factory that

enables multiple pods to deliver consistently, while acting as the final technical authority

across all implementation projects.

.Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

Architectural Oversight

● Own the end-to-end technical architecture for all implementation programs

● Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with long-term

platform vision

● Prevent and actively reduce technical debt across implementations

● Review and guide architectural decisions across multiple pods and teams

Engineering Process . Standards

● Define and enforce coding standards, design principles, and best practices

● Establish strong code review, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and release

processes

● Improve delivery predictability, quality, and velocity across implementation teams

● Drive operational excellence through automation and tooling

Mentorship . Engineering Culture

● Mentor Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and senior developers

● Build strong career paths, skill development plans, and succession pipelines

● Foster a culture of ownership, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement

● Act as a role model for engineering excellence and leadership maturity

Technical Escalation . Delivery Leadership

● Serve as the final escalation point for complex technical and delivery challenges

● Lead resolution of high-impact production or customer-critical issues

● Partner closely with Product, Customer Success, and Implementation leadership

● Ensure successful delivery of large-scale, multi-region enterprise deployments

.Must-Have

● 10–15 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5. years in

leadership roles

● Strong experience in enterprise SaaS implementations, preferably in Supply Chain

/ Logistics / ERP / Integration-heavy platforms

● Hands-on background in system design, distributed systems, integrations, and

APIs

● Proven ability to scale engineering teams and processes

● Experience leading multiple pods/teams delivering in parallel

Good to Have

● Exposure to microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

● Experience with data-intensive systems, workflows, and integrations with external

partners

● Prior experience working with global customers and cross-timezone teams

● Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
