Responsibilities will include :
- As the Information Security Director, you will work with the Enterprise Technology to understand our environment and to ensure compliance with security and technical standards and processes.
- Must have a strong background in information technology and operations with a clear understanding of the challenges of information security.
- They require excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and fix security risks.
- To build understanding and awareness of security issues throughout the organization, they must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- They also need good team working skills to develop security solutions in collaboration with other information technology professionals and Risk Oversight.
Qualifications :
- 15 to 20 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT jobs - 7 plus years in a senior leadership role.
- Financial and/or Mortgage industry expertise preferred.
- Strong communication skills (including ability to probe deeply into business issues during exploratory and fact finding calls/discussions).
- Develops, implements and monitors a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of information owned, controlled or processed by the organization.
- Develops, maintains and publishes up-to-date security policies, standards and guidelines, and oversee training and dissemination of security policies and practices
- Develops and manages information security budgets, and monitor them for variances.
- Develops and enhances an information security management framework based on National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
- Provides strategic security guidance for IT projects, including the evaluation and recommendation of technical controls.
- Liaison among the Information Security team and corporate compliance, Oversight, audit, legal and HR management teams as required.
- Manages security incidents and events to protect corporate IT assets, including intellectual property, regulated data and the company's reputation.
- Develops and oversees effective disaster recovery policies and standards to align with enterprise business continuity management program goals.
- Coordinates the development of implementation plans and procedures to ensure that business-critical services are recovered in the event of a security event, and provide direction, support and in-house consulting in these areas.
- Facilitates a metrics and reporting framework to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the program, facilitate appropriate resource allocation, and increase the maturity of the security.
- Manages the enterprise's security organization, consisting of direct reports and indirect reports
- The Information Security Director position requires a visionary leader with strong skills in business management and a working knowledge of information security technologies.
- The incumbent serves as the process owner of all ongoing activities related to the availability, integrity and confidentiality of customers, business partners, employees and business information, in compliance with the organization's information security policies.
- A key element of the Information Security Director's role is working with Risk Oversight to determine acceptable levels of risk for the organization.
- This role is highly knowledgeable about the business environment and must ensure that information systems are maintained in a fully functional, secure mode
