Role Overview:
As a Director - IT Infra, you will be responsible for leading the IT Infrastructure and IT Security teams, driving the management and strategic oversight of on-premises datacenter assets, end user systems, and on-cloud SaaS / PaaS / IaaS services. You will focus on Microsoft and Open-Source technologies and lead initiatives to transition workloads from current on-premises to a hybrid cloud ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the CTO to define a strategic direction for the organization's IT ecosystem aligned with business objectives, digital transformation initiatives, and 'Right-Fit' technology.• Formulate and implement IT and InfoSec policies in alignment with industry standards, best practices, guidelines, and organization goals.• Manage vendor and service provider relationships, ensuring periodic cost optimization through consolidation and timely negotiations/renewals.• Develop and implement change management processes to ensure smooth technology transitions and adoption, providing necessary support to stakeholders.• Lead the IT Infra and IT InfoSec teams, fostering an innovative, collaborative, and high-performance team environment.Qualifications Required:
• 10-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and information security.• Proven experience leading and managing complex hybrid IT teams.• Proven experience in transitioning workloads to a hybrid cloud ecosystem and managing IT Security measures.• Technical proficiency with Microsoft technologies (e.g., Windows Server, Azure Services) and Open-Source technologies (e.g., Ubuntu Linux, Docker, Kubernetes).• Experience in datacenter operations, network systems, and virtualization environments.• Familiarity with IT process optimization, change management, and relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Red Hat Certified, Cisco Certified Network Professional) will be advantageous.• Experience in disaster recovery frameworks, security audits, and working in large publication companies, management consulting companies, or Tier 1 startups will be beneficial.
