Role Overview:

The Director, Global Finance will lead and oversee all aspects of Datatechindia's global financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with the company's objectives. This role involves managing a team of finance professionals, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and providing financial insights to support key business decisions. The Director will be instrumental in driving financial excellence and contributing to the company's continued success and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the global financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and other applicable accounting standards.

- Lead the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Manage the SAP P2P and SAP R2R processes, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness in procurement and accounting operations.

- Provide strategic financial guidance and support to senior management, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems, leveraging ERP solutions and other technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional development.

- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.

- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making, including investment opportunities, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate finance activities.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, corporate finance, and accounting principles.

- Proven ability to lead and manage a global finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

- Strong understanding of ERP systems, particularly SAP P2P and SAP R2R modules.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CA preferred.

- Minimum of 15-20 years of progressive experience in finance, with a focus on global financial operations and corporate finance.

- Experience in establishing and managing a Finance Centre of Excellence is highly desirable.
