About the Role
As a Director Cybersecurity & AI, your role involves leading enterprise-wide strategy, architecture, and execution for securing AI/GenAI platforms, data, and applications. You will be responsible for driving the secure adoption of AI technologies while strengthening the overall security posture. Partnering with engineering, data science, product, risk, and executive leadership is crucial to ensure that all AI initiatives are secure, compliant, and resilient against evolving threats.
Key Responsibilities:
You will also be responsible for defining secure architectures for AI/GenAI platforms, AI data pipelines & model lifecycle, and AI-powered applications and APIs. Establishing controls for prompt injection, data leakage, model abuse, model integrity, privacy, adversarial attacks, and identity access controls for AI systems is essential. Threat modeling for AI risks like prompt injection, model abuse, and data leakage should be highlighted.
Furthermore, embedding security into AI/ML lifecycle, defining standards for secure coding, model validation and monitoring, AI observability and auditability, and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and AI platforms will be part of your responsibilities. Building capabilities for AI-aware threat detection and response, leading security operations for AI-enabled cyber threats, advanced malware, deepfakes, and automated attacks, and establishing AI SOC/threat monitoring frameworks are vital.
Your role will also involve driving compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, SOC2, GDPR, and emerging AI regulations, implementing AI risk management frameworks, ensuring ethical AI practices, explainability, and accountability, and leading third-party and vendor AI risk assessments. Partnering with Data Science, Engineering, Product, Legal, Risk, and acting as a trusted advisor to executive leadership to drive enterprise-wide security culture and awareness are key aspects of this role.
