About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Control Management Director to lead strategic risk and control initiatives for the Commercial Banking (CB) and Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Business, with a strong emphasis on Investment Banking activities. You will ensure a robust control environment aligned with the firm's risk appetite, regulatory expectations, and enterprise risk management framework.

Required Qualifications:

- 8+ years in Risk Management or Business Controls experience (or equivalent via work/training/military/education).

- 4+ years of Management or leadership experience.

- Demonstrated experience supporting Investment Banking products and activities.

- Strong understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks, control design, issues management, and regulatory expectations for CB and CIB.

- Proven ability to influence senior leaders across business and control functions.

Desired Qualifications:

- Prior GCC or regional CB/CIB control leadership role in a global bank.

- Exposure to regulatory interactions across multiple jurisdictions.

- Strong understanding of financial markets, deal mechanics, and investment banking workflows.

- Experience leading large, matrixed teams and driving control uplift initiatives.

Job Expectations:

- End-to-end oversight of CB & CIB control environment, especially Investment Banking, Capital Markets, and advisory activities.

- Maintain and enhance a risk/control framework covering operational, regulatory, conduct, and reputational risks.

- Act as credible challenger to the front line on risk identification, mitigation, and escalation.

- Assess risks in complex transactions, conflicts management, information barriers, valuation, and disclosure obligations.

- Ensure global and regional regulatory compliance for Investment Banking and CIB.

- Oversee RCSA, issues management, control testing, and remediation.

- Lead preparation for regulatory exams, audits, and independent testing.
