About the Role

As Director Ad Monetization at Pine Labs, you will have the responsibility to create a new revenue stream by monetizing the physical and digital merchant real estate, starting with POS devices, charge slips, and merchant/consumer intelligence layers. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams such as Product, Engineering, Sales, Data Science, and external ecosystem partners to develop an ad monetization engine that aligns with Pine Labs' Offline Payments business. You should bring ambition, drive, and an entrepreneurial mindset to drive business growth in a high-growth, multi-cultural environment.

Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement the ad monetization strategy for Pine Labs' POS infrastructure, focusing on screens, receipts, and merchant-level data-led monetization opportunities. - Establish partnerships with ad networks, agencies, media buyers, brand advertisers, and programmatic platforms. - Prioritize non-intrusive and value-aligned ad formats to enhance customer/merchant experience while increasing revenue.

  • • Conduct experiments, optimize monetization funnels using analytics, user segmentation, targeting models, and A/B testing.

  • • Collaborate with Engineering & Product teams to develop tech-integrated monetization solutions.

  • • Launch pilots, create monetization playbooks, and develop a go-to-market framework for merchants and advertisers.

  • • Monitor ad performance, fill rates, pricing models, and customer feedback while ensuring compliance with privacy and ad regulation norms.

  • • Recruit, train, and guide cross-functional team members in an Agile environment.
  • Qualifications Required: - 1015 years of experience in digital advertising, ad tech, or monetization strategy, preferably in fintech, media, or B2B2C SaaS.
