About the Role

You have been mandated to hire a Deputy Chief Financial Officer for a leading affordable housing finance company providing Home Loans. Your role will involve controlling all operational activities of Finance & Accounts.

  • • Planning, implementing, managing & delivering all financial activities of the company.

  • • Recommending an annual operating plan and financial budget to the Board.

  • • Providing strategic recommendations to the board / executive management teams on cost optimization.

  • • Managing financial processes, forecasting, and budgeting costs.

  • • Overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting for the company.

  • • Monitoring effective tax strategies and compliance.

  • • Attending meetings of the Board and its Committees to present relevant financial information.

  • • Preparing timely reports/analyses on fund flow, investments, loans, etc.

  • • Providing timely and accurate MIS including budget analysis, costing & financial reports.

  • • Ensuring statutory audits are completed with nil qualifications within prescribed time limits.

  • • Undertaking all Tax planning initiatives (direct and indirect).

  • • Ensuring computation of advance tax and payment of all taxes, direct and indirect, is done on a timely basis.
  • Minimum 17-25 years of experience required along with a Chartered Accountant qualification. Experience in working with NBFC, HFC, Banks, and Financial Institutions is necessary. You should have the ability to solve problems effectively and proficiency in English, Tamil, and any other language.
