About the Role

Role Overview:
You will be the lead for Asset Servicing covering Corporate Actions, Income, Tax, and Corporate Governance supporting the Global Head of Custody Product Development at the Product organization. Your main responsibility will be to partner with the Product team, Global Delivery, and Technology to execute custody product development initiatives in alignment with the strategic objective to strengthen State Street's position in the industry. This role is pivotal in driving the transformation of the business and requires experienced leadership to propel the business forward. Your focus will be on building out the SME/BA capabilities within asset servicing practice in Custody across various key segments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and maintenance of a suite of Custody products to drive NIAT growth by enhancing/digitizing products, generating client value, and delivering by geography and capability

• Collaborate with the Custody Product Development head to deliver a clear asset servicing product roadmap

• Analyze product-related change including business cases, prioritization, and approval of product, operational, and regulatory change

• Ensure change remains aligned with existing regulations and internal policies

• Support the design and efficiency of the operating model, standards, and technical stack/architecture to simplify where possible

• Gather industry intelligence to develop the product roadmap and ensure Custody services are viewed as thought leaders in the industry

• Ensure appropriate governance, compliance with policies/frameworks, and oversight of issues, risks, audit, and compliance items

• Present to senior management, lead delivery of initiatives, and engage with complex clients for solutioning operating models

Qualifications Required:

• Seasoned MD with 10+ years of experience in Securities Services

• Worked in Product organizations in prior roles

• Global level operational experience

• Consultative experience working with institutional investors

• Strong team leadership and management skills

• Proven track record of solving data integration challenges and delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall techniques

• Familiarity with industry integration tools and their applicability in shortening the chain of custody

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate the organization through the solution delivery cycle
