Role Description The CTO / Technical Co-founder role is a full-time remote position focused on technology leadership at WellMind AI during its pre-seed stage.

Responsibilities include defining and executing technical strategy, designing scalable system architectures, leading software development efforts, and developing creative AI-driven solutions for mental health. The role involves assembling and mentoring a high-performing technical team, overseeing product development, and ensuring the delivery of a secure and user-friendly platform. Working hands-on with both AI technologies and cloud infrastructure, you will collaborate closely with the founding team to build the foundation of WellMind AI.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Software Development, including backend, frontend, and full-stack engineering

• Experience in Product Development with a focus on scaling AI or healthcare-related technologies

• Strong skills in IT Strategy and Architecture for scalable, secure, and robust systems

• Proficiency in Project Management and team leadership, with an ability to set milestones and meet deadlines

• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, conversational AI, and cloud architecture is highly desirable

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to work at the pre-seed stage on equity-based compensation

• Passion for mental health innovation and a commitment to the mission of WellMind AI
