As a seasoned strong leader for the Client Onboarding team in India at State Street Markets, your role involves managing the client onboarding teams across various products supporting all regions in Hyderabad/Bangalore/Mumbai, India. You will lead various projects and initiatives to enhance the onboarding process by closely working with the Client Onboarding teams, Relationship Managers, Trading, Legal, Credit, and Operations teams. Your responsibilities include:
• Managing, leading, and developing a team of onboarding professionals• Ensuring accurate setup of funds/accounts in all necessary systems• Resolving onboarding issues and managing escalations• Adhering to established procedures and controls, monitoring and resolving pending and aged onboarding items• Interacting with Sales, traders, internal teams, and counterparts regarding discrepancies• Ensuring team meets agreed SLA, KPI, and KRI with documented evidence• Assisting with inquiries pertaining to onboarding, coordinating responses to Clients and internal teams• Ensuring timely resolution of client onboarding issues and informing senior management of potential risks• Identifying and analyzing operations risks related to the current process and recommending procedural changes/improvements• Demonstrating effective communication skills and risk management skills• Managing multiple project initiatives and collaborating across globally on key initiatives• Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders• Leading various technology initiatives associated with client onboarding• Driving process improvement ideas and enhancing workflow efficiency• Conducting regular meetings with Business Heads and Managers to communicate results and issuesTo succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:
