About the Role

As a CISO Secure Build Lead at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in revolutionizing the digital landscape and ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the evolution of digital offerings by harnessing cutting-edge technology. You will work closely with cross-functional Product owners on Secure Build documents, oversee compliance statistics in the SCD dashboard, and contribute to transformation projects within the team. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining cyber compliance and risk management by applying technical knowledge collaboratively with Technology SMEs and stakeholders. Your strong communication and collaboration skills will be essential in analyzing and reviewing security issues and influencing security outcomes at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Lead the evolution of digital offerings by interacting with Product owners on Secure Build documents

  • • Oversee compliance statistics in the SCD dashboard

  • • Contribute to transformation projects within the team

  • • Apply technical knowledge collaboratively with Technology SMEs and stakeholders

  • • Analyze and review security issues to support cyber compliance and risk management

    • Qualifications Required:

  • • Graduate with Engineering experience/exposure in security or related fields

  • • Knowledge of industry best practices such as CIS, NIST

  • • Ability to think at the 'big picture' and translate it into practical security implementation

  • • Strong communication and collaboration skills
