About the Role

As a CISO Secure Build Lead at Barclays, you will be spearheading the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence while harnessing cutting-edge technology to revolutionize digital offerings and ensure unparalleled customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand security requirements in business processes and IT projects to enhance overall risk management. - Execute risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential cybersecurity threats, guiding the implementation of mitigation strategies, and communicating findings to senior stakeholders. - Develop and implement security policies and procedures aligned with the risk management framework.

  • • Manage the implementation, testing, and monitoring of security controls across IT systems to ensure effectiveness and mitigate risk.

  • • Conduct training sessions to educate employees, enhance cybersecurity awareness, and promote safe online practices.

  • • Manage complex cybersecurity incidents by collaborating with IT teams and response experts for effective resolution.

  • • Identify emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and new technologies to address potential risks by advocating the adoption of new security solutions.
  • Qualifications Required: - Graduate with Engineering experience in security or related fields.

  • • Experience in Secure Build documents, interacting with cross-functional Product owners, overseeing compliance stats, contributing to transformation projects.

  • • Knowledge of industry best practices such as CIS, NIST.

  • • Ability to collaborate with Technology SMEs and stakeholders to support Cyber compliance and risk management.

  • • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in analyzing security issues.

  • • Understanding of Risk management processes and ability to translate technical knowledge into practical security implementation.

  • • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • This role will be based out of Pune.
