About the Role

Job Description:
As the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Genzeon, you will be responsible for leading our information security efforts to safeguard our digital assets, ensure compliance with regulations, and implement robust cybersecurity measures. This role is tailored for a mid-level candidate who can practically implement and manage cybersecurity measures efficiently. You will be the hands-on leader in navigating the unique challenges faced by a mid-sized software company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Conduct periodic assessments to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).

  • • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to Information Security (IS) through thorough evaluations.

  • • Assess adherence to organizational Information Security (IS) policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and directives, providing guidance to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).

  • • Conduct Information Security (IS) audits at least annually or after significant changes in IT systems/Infrastructure.

  • • Generate comprehensive IS audit reports with recommendations to enhance Information Security (IS).

  • • Obtain senior management approval for IS audit reports before dissemination.

  • • Periodically share approved audit reports with the Executive Leadership Team.

    • Qualifications Required:

  • • Skilled and experienced professional in information security.

  • • Strong understanding of cybersecurity measures and compliance requirements.

  • • Ability to lead and manage information security efforts effectively.

  • • Hands-on experience in implementing cybersecurity measures.

  • • Knowledge of Information Security Management System (ISMS) and audit processes.
