We are an ambitious fintech startup building a cutting-edge Wealth Tech platform designed to revolutionize investment and financial advisory services in India. Our founding team, consisting of Graduates from IIT and IIM, brings a strong blend of financial expertise and entrepreneurial drive.

Together, we aim to build a seamless, goal-based investment platform similar to Kuvera, leveraging state-of-the-art technology and regulatory-compliant integrations to empower Indian investors.

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly-skilled, motivated Cofounder/CTO to lead our technology vision, architecture, and engineering. As CTO and a founding member, you will play a crucial role in shaping the product roadmap, technology stack, and team building. You will architect and develop a scalable, secure, and innovative investment app that drives user acquisition and retention.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Define the product technology roadmap and drive the full software development lifecycle from prototype to launch and scale.

2. Lead architecture design of a secure, cloud-native, multi-platform investment application (mobile + web).

3. Oversee integrations with KYC providers, mutual fund transaction APIs (BSE/NSE/Fintech Primitives), payments gateways (UPI, eMandates), and financial data sources.

4. Build and manage engineering teams, enforcing agile development, code quality, and testing practices.

5. Implement advanced analytics and AI-powered personalized investment recommendations.

6. Ensure compliance with SEBI and financial industry regulations on data security, auditability, and privacy.

7. Collaborate closely with founding team for strategy, fundraising, and product-market fit.

8. Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, platforms, and tools that accelerate development and enhance product excellence.

Required Skills and Experience :

1. Proven experience (5+ years preferred) as Lead Developer, Tech Architect, or CTO in fintech, wealth management, or financial services startups.

2. Expertise with modern tech stacks : Backend (Node.js, Python/Django), Frontend (React.js, Flutter/React Native), Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

3. Hands-on experience integrating third-party APIs, especially fintech/KYC/payment gateways and market data.

4. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with knowledge of security best practices.

5. Familiarity with AI/ML tools for personalized financial advisory and portfolio optimization.

6. Experience with compliance frameworks related to Indian financial regulations (SEBI, AMFI).

7. Ability to lead teams, mentor developers, and communicate clearly to technical/non-technical stakeholders.

8. Passion for building technology that empowers consumers and transforms wealth management.

9. Background in data privacy laws and ISO 27001 or PCI DSS standards implementation will be an advantage.
