We are representing our overseas client; a fortune 500 company and the largest private sector corporation in India in the search for a Plant Operations Manager Polysilicon

.

.Job Responsibilities:.
Lead and drive the technology roadmap for the Polysilicon business to deliver world-class cost and quality outcomes in solar-grade, semiconductor-grade polysilicon, and specialty gases
Lead development of technologies such as Float Zone, FBR processes, and debottlenecking solutions
Translate R&D; outcomes into scalable, commercially viable technologies with the engineering team
Collaborate with the manufacturing and CES teams to improve yield, lower mg-Si and electricity consumption, and maximize uptime
Support development and production of specialty gases like MCS, DCS, and HCDS for semiconductor applications
Ensure innovation, engineering integration, and process excellence to position the unit among global leaders in the sector
Build and mentor a high-caliber tech team across locations
Forge partnerships with global technology institutions, suppliers, and start-ups for co-development and innovation sourcing

Job Requirements:.
PhD / Masters in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related discipline from reputed institutes
Min 20+ years of experience in polysilicon / semiconductor / specialty gas industries
Proven leadership in developing and scaling technologies from pilot to commercial scale
Robust interface experience with operations, engineering, and R&D; teams
Deep knowledge of Siemens, FBR, or advanced polysilicon processes
Expertise in energy and raw material optimization
Solid business orientation with cost awareness
High-level project management and leadership skills
