Job Description :
We are looking for a visionary Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead the AI and technology strategy for Chronosphere, a flagship initiative under Macro Vision Academy.
This role will drive the end-to-end development of a next-generation ecosystem that blends technology platforms with academic learning, focused on AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science. The CTO will act as the technical and academic leader, shaping both product innovation and capability building.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define and execute the overall AI and technology roadmap for Chronosphere
- Lead the end-to-end build-out of the ecosystem (technical platforms + academic frameworks)
- Act as the technical and academic head, driving innovation and learning outcomes
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing engineering and data teams
- Ensure alignment of all technology initiatives with Macro Vision Academy's long-term vision
- Establish governance, processes, and best practices for scalable growth
Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities :

Technical & Product Development :
- Oversee development of AI/ML, Data Science, and automation-driven products and platforms
- Drive architecture and system design decisions ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
- Guide teams on modern tech stacks, cloud platforms, and AI frameworks
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance product capabilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate ideas into market-ready, high-impact solutions
Required Skills & Experience :
- 10-15 years of experience in technology leadership / engineering / AI product development
- Strong expertise in AI/ML, Data Science, and modern software architectures
- Proven experience building and scaling technology platforms or products (0-1 or 1-scale)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams (engineering, data, product)
- Strong understanding of cloud ecosystems (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on technical direction
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- Background in EdTech / AI platforms / learning ecosystems
- Experience in building academic + product-driven environments
- Entrepreneurial mindset with exposure to startup or innovation-led environments
Ideal Candidate
An engineer who has scaled an AI/ML product from concept to market (Series AβB stage minimum) and can code-review architecture decisions, not just delegate.
