About the Role

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for establishing an organization-wide risk-conscious culture and implementing structured reporting processes for risk monitoring. Additionally, you will oversee the overall risk management activities of the AMC and Mutual Fund Schemes, ensuring the implementation and governance of Risk Management Framework (RMF) across the AMC and the Mutual Fund Schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Define, review, and update all risk-related policies periodically, and present them to the relevant risk management committee for approval.

  • • Conduct regular reviews and updates of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) defined by the AMC and submit it to the Risk Management Committees (RMCs) for approval.

  • • Develop and propose changes to roles and responsibilities, including Key Result Areas (KRAs) related to risk management activities, and present them to the RMCs for approval.

  • • Periodically review the Daily Operating Procedures (DoP) covering daily risk management, risk reporting, and corrective actions at the level of Fund manager, Chief Investment Officer (CIO), and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

  • • Review and recommend changes to the risk appetite and risk metrics for the AMC and schemes as defined by the CEO.

  • • Ensure the formulation and implementation of adequate mechanisms for risk parameters in credit and fraud risk strategies, along with a reporting framework on the same.

  • • Review and report to the Executive Risk Management Committee (ERMC) and Board Risk Committee of the AMC and Trustee.

  • • Independently assess the reporting of risks to various committees and management.

  • • Provide monthly reports on the outcomes of the risk management function to the CEO.

  • • Define processes to assess control against identified risks (Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Stress Testing).

  • • Identify, assess, and estimate emerging risks and their potential impact on the AMC and mutual fund schemes.

  • • Report existing and emerging risks associated with the Mutual Fund and AMC activities in a structured manner to the Risk Management Committee of the Board of AMC and Trustee.
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • • Professional certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager) or CRM (Certified Risk Manager) would be preferred.

  • • Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.

  • • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • • Effective communication and presentation abilities.

  • • Proven experience in risk management within the financial services industry.

  • • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Role Overview:
