About the Role

As a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Organization, you will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for shaping the financial strategy, ensuring financial health, and driving growth in the chemical manufacturing sector. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the CEO, Board, and stakeholders to maintain financial accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Develop and implement robust financial strategies to support Organizations growth objectives.

  • • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of management reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • • Oversee costing process, manage the annual budget, and review expenditures to maintain financial discipline.

  • • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including company law, tax, and internal audit processes.

  • • Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and effective collaboration with other departments.

  • • Oversee internal, statutory, and tax audits, and manage risk mitigation strategies to protect the organizations assets.

  • • Provide financial insights and analysis to support key decision-making at the executive level and in board meetings.

  • • Monitor and manage the organizations cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Qualifications and Skills:

  • • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is a must.

  • • 15-20 years of experience in finance, with significant exposure to the engineering and manufacturing sectors.

  • • Proven track record of managing financial operations in a company with a turnover of 25 crores or more.

  • • Experience managing a finance team of at least 3-5 people.
  • Technical Skills:

  • • Strong knowledge of costing, budgeting, and financial modeling.

  • • In-depth understanding of company law, taxation, and statutory regulations.

  • • Proficient in using management information systems (MIS) and financial software.
  • Interpersonal Skills:

  • • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

  • • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing finance professionals.

  • • Ability to think strategically while maintaining attention to detail in financial management.
