About the Role

Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on, commercially driven CMO to lead marketing across dine-in and delivery businesses.

This role goes beyond brand-building-it is focused on driving measurable revenue outcomes, including footfall, online orders and customer retention.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of agency and in-house experience, with the ability to combine creativity with sharp performance marketing and ROI discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Growth & Revenue Ownership

- Drive outlet footfall and same-store sales growth

- Scale online delivery across Swiggy and Zomato

- Own and optimise marketing spends with clear focus on ROAS, CAC and ROI

- Build repeat customer cohorts and improve lifetime value

Digital & Performance Marketing

- Lead full-funnel digital strategy (Meta, Google, aggregators)

- Drive performance campaigns with strong ROAS accountability

- Build dashboards to track campaign-level returns and attribution

Brand & Content

- Lead brand positioning across formats (fine dine, casual, QSR)

- Oversee content, food styling and visual storytelling

- Ensure consistency in premium brand experience

Activations PR & Partnerships

- Conceptualise and execute events, pop-ups and collaborations

- Drive influencer strategy and media visibility

- Build partnerships to enhance brand reach and recall

Aggregator & Platform Strategy

- Own end-to-end performance on Swiggy and Zomato

- Improve discoverability, conversion rates and ratings

- Drive menu engineering and digital merchandising

Team & Budget

- Lead and develop a team of ~10-12

- Own marketing budgets, allocation, and performance tracking

- Build a data-driven, execution-focused marketing function

Candidate Profile

- 15-18 years of experience in marketing leadership role

- Strong mix of agency + in-house experience

- Prior agency experience working with hospitality / F&B brands is essential

- Proven track record in performance marketing and brand building

- Deep understanding of ROAS, CAC, LTV and marketing analytics

- Experience scaling multi-location consumer / QSR / food-tech businesses preferred

- Strong commercial mindset with ability to link marketing to revenue outcomes
