About the Role

As the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL), your role will be crucial in defining and executing TEPL's enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring the protection of IT, OT, and AI-driven systems in both semiconductor and electronics manufacturing environments. Your expertise in manufacturing/OT cybersecurity, Information Technology/IT security, AI cybersecurity, and governance will be key in aligning with global standards and meeting customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with TEPL's business objectives and regulatory requirements. - Establish a governance framework for AI safety, AI risk management, and ethical AI usage. - Oversee security for IT and OT environments, including semiconductor fabrication systems, ICS, and SCADA networks.

• Lead initiatives to identify, assess, and mitigate AI-related risks, including AI-driven malware and adversarial attacks.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, IEC62443, ISO42001 AIMS, NIST, GDPR, and Indian cybersecurity regulations.

• Build and lead a world-class cybersecurity team, fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience: - Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Advanced certifications such as IEC 62443, AIMS ISO 42001, CISSP, CISM, CISA, or GIAC preferred.

• 20+ years in cybersecurity leadership roles, with at least 5 years as CISO or equivalent in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.

• Strong knowledge of cloud security, zero-trust architecture, and advanced threat intelligence.
Key Competencies: - Strategic thinking with a risk-based approach.
• Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and associated cyber risks.

• Ability to anticipate emerging threats, especially in AI and advanced manufacturing domains.

• Strong collaboration skills to work with engineering, R&D, and executive teams.
