About the Role
As an ideal candidate for the role, your primary responsibility will involve defining, developing, and maintaining a business-aligned Information and Cybersecurity strategy. You will also be tasked with establishing and embedding an Information Security Policy Framework that complies with industry standards and legal requirements. It will be essential for you to advise senior leadership on integrating security practices into business operations.
Your leadership skills will be put to the test as you build, lead, and retain a high-performance Information Security team. Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement will be key, along with setting clear strategic plans, budgets, and performance targets for the Information Security function.
In terms of Risk Management & Security Operations, you will provide oversight of enterprise information and cybersecurity risk management. Additionally, you will manage security risks related to suppliers and delivery partners, and develop and maintain an Information Security Management System (ISMS) with processes for continual improvement.
Compliance & Incident Management will also fall under your purview. You will need to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including ISO 27001 and PCI DSS. Directing investigations into security breaches and coordinating with data protection teams on legislative requirements will be crucial. Moreover, promoting a strong security culture throughout the organization will be a key part of your responsibilities.
