About the Role

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in our company, you will play a crucial role as a core member of the leadership team. Your main responsibilities will revolve around driving strategic financial direction, cost optimization, and profitability across all group operations. Additionally, you will be the primary financial and commercial interface with various stakeholders including the Board, investors, auditors, regulators, banking partners, vendors, and other key parties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Leadership & Governance - Lead accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance across all group entities.

- Ensure timely financial closures and enhance internal control frameworks.
- Establish standardized SOPs including vendor empanelment, annual rate contracts, and procurement processes.
- Conduct control reviews and financial checks during festival operations for cost optimization.
- Oversee statutory audits and compliance in India and overseas.

• Commercial Leadership & Cost Optimisation - Negotiate with vendors and engage in commercial discussions to optimize costs and enhance margins.

- Implement procurement and cost governance frameworks.
- Monitor profitability and cost efficiencies across festivals and business verticals.

• Board, Investor & Stakeholder Interface - Lead MIS reporting, rolling forecasts, and performance analytics.

- Prepare and present Board packs and financial updates.
- Provide proactive insights to support decision-making.
- Act as a central liaison for investors.

• Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Discipline - Drive annual budgeting and forecasting aligned with business plans.

- Monitor revenue, cost controls, and margin performance.
- Conduct monthly reviews and variance analysis.
- Establish KPI dashboards and monitoring frameworks.

• Treasury & Cash Flow Management - Manage working capital and cash flow planning.

- Optimize deployment of surplus funds.

• Taxation & Regulatory Compliance - Oversee direct and indirect tax matters, compliance, and filings.

- Coordinate with advisors for compliance and risk mitigation.

• Multi-Country & Subsidiary Oversight - Supervise accounting, audits, and compliance for international subsidiaries.

- Support group structuring and statutory optimization.

• Strategic & Corporate Finance - Evaluate new initiatives using ROI and ROCE frameworks.

- Support investment decisions and lead financial modeling.

• Contract & Commercial Governance - Manage financial and commercial aspects of agreements.

- Establish centralized contract management and risk frameworks.
