About the Role
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in our company, you will play a crucial role as a core member of the leadership team. Your main responsibilities will revolve around driving strategic financial direction, cost optimization, and profitability across all group operations. Additionally, you will be the primary financial and commercial interface with various stakeholders including the Board, investors, auditors, regulators, banking partners, vendors, and other key parties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely financial closures and enhance internal control frameworks.
- Establish standardized SOPs including vendor empanelment, annual rate contracts, and procurement processes.
- Conduct control reviews and financial checks during festival operations for cost optimization.
- Oversee statutory audits and compliance in India and overseas.
- Implement procurement and cost governance frameworks.
- Monitor profitability and cost efficiencies across festivals and business verticals.
- Prepare and present Board packs and financial updates.
- Provide proactive insights to support decision-making.
- Act as a central liaison for investors.
- Monitor revenue, cost controls, and margin performance.
- Conduct monthly reviews and variance analysis.
- Establish KPI dashboards and monitoring frameworks.
- Optimize deployment of surplus funds.
- Coordinate with advisors for compliance and risk mitigation.
- Support group structuring and statutory optimization.
- Support investment decisions and lead financial modeling.
- Establish centralized contract management and risk frameworks.
