About the Role

Job Description: As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a listed company, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial strategy, cost accounting, and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include managing heavy working capital, inventory, and capex to ensure the company's financial health and growth.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy & Planning: - Develop and execute long-term financial strategies and annual operating plans to support production and growth.
  • Cost Accounting & Inventory Management: - Oversee cost control, margin analysis, imports, forex exposure, and trade finance compliance. Ensure accuracy in inventory aging reports, manage raw materials, and adhere to GST, TDS, Income Tax, and regulatory norms.
  • Working Capital & Treasury: - Manage high-volume working capital cycles, treasury operations, and maintain strong relationships with banks.
  • Capex & Risk Management: - Evaluate investment opportunities, mitigate financial risks, and monitor compliance with financial regulations.
  • Operational Reporting & ERP: - Oversee monthly/annual financial statements, drive ERP implementation, and improve data accuracy across plant and corporate systems. Act as the primary finance interface for investors and lenders.
  • Leadership: - Mentor and build a strong finance team across plants and corporate offices.
  • Qualification Required: - CA with 12-18 years of experience, including 5+ years in executive leadership, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors.

  • • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
