About the Role

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at this SaaS Company, you will play a crucial role as a strategic partner to the founders and leadership team. Your responsibilities will revolve around driving financial strategy, growth enablement, and investor confidence. Your forward-looking leadership skills, coupled with a strong business/product growth mindset, will be essential in balancing top-line acceleration with disciplined financial stewardship.

Key Responsibilities: - Own financial strategy to support ARR growth, making investment decisions based on robust forecasting and scenario planning. - Lead financial due diligence, fundraising activities (Series A/B), and investor relations to ensure transparency and credibility.

  • • Drive annual budgeting and resource allocation in alignment with company objectives for maximizing organizational performance.

  • • Execute pricing optimization and SaaS migration strategies to achieve measurable revenue uplift.

  • • Manage liquidity, cash flow, and investment strategies to ensure stability during market downturns.

  • • Develop impactful board presentations and MIS reports to enhance stakeholder confidence and facilitate informed decisions.

    • Business Performance & Decision Support:

  • • Collaborate with the CEO and founders to shape operational cadence and reporting frameworks.

  • • Provide strategic advice to challenge authority, investors, and the board, serving as a co-owner of growth strategy.

  • • Implement profitability analysis across products, departments, and regions to drive data-backed portfolio decisions.

  • • Lead investment evaluations and ROI maximization initiatives to fuel sustainable growth.

  • • Contribute to margin improvement through cost optimization and efficiency programs.

    • Governance & Compliance:

  • • Ensure robust compliance frameworks and processes while digitizing financial operations for scalability.

  • • Enhance investor reporting and corporate governance to support growth plans and international expansion.

    • In terms of qualifications, you are expected to be a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of overall experience, including at least 3 years as a CFO or Head of Finance, preferably in SaaS or technology-driven businesses with ARR-focused growth strategies. Your track record should demonstrate success in fundraising, investor management, and delivering value creation, with a preference for experience in PE/VC exits. Your ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders while maintaining collaborative leadership, expertise in financial modeling, pricing strategy, and operational efficiency, and a growth-oriented mindset will be crucial for excelling in this role.
