About the Role

Role Overview:
As a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at India's leading luxury real estate developer, you will be reporting directly to the respective Business Unit Head (Promoter). Your role will involve owning the financial strategy end-to-end, leading investment and project finance decisions, transforming finance processes, and serving as a trusted commercial partner to the Promoter. You will be responsible for financial accountability across various aspects of the business unit in one of India's most ambitious real estate organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Serve as the primary financial advisor to the Business Unit Head, providing strategic counsel on investment decisions, capital deployment, and business expansion.

  • • Own the BU's financial strategy, including annual operating plans, five-year projections, capital structure optimization, and return-on-investment frameworks.

  • • Lead end-to-end project financing, from feasibility and financial modeling to lender appraisal, loan documentation, and compliance.

  • • Build and manage institutional lender relationships to ensure timely and cost-efficient capital availability.

  • • Design and deliver Board-ready MIS dashboards and business performance reports.

  • • Assess the current state of finance processes, systems, and controls within the BU and design a transformation roadmap.

  • • Ensure timely and accurate closure of books of accounts, preparation of financial statements, and statutory audit completion.

  • • Own direct and indirect tax strategy, including planning, compliance, assessments, and litigation management.
  • Qualification Required:

  • • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15+ years of post-qualification experience in a senior finance leadership role.

  • • Background in Real Estate, Infrastructure, EPC, or Chemicals preferred.

  • • Demonstrated experience in project finance, investment appraisal, and institutional fund raising.

  • • Strong command of financial modeling, capital structuring, treasury management, and lender relationship management.

  • • Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced MIS design, and financial process automation. Role Overview:
