Chief Financial Officer

As a Strategic Finance & Fundraising professional, your role will involve partnering with the CEO/founders to define financial strategy, growth roadmap, and capital structure including M&A and investment analysis. You will lead fundraising efforts across equity, venture debt, and working capital financing while managing investor relations, board reporting, and due diligence processes with transparency and accuracy. Building financial models to evaluate unit economics, margins, and business expansion scenarios will be crucial. Additionally, you will oversee all financial operations including accounting, treasury, tax, auditing, FP&A, and reporting functions. Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, developing robust financial controls, risk management practices, and internal audit processes will also be part of your responsibilities.

Your Financial Operations & Governance responsibilities will involve setting up and streamlining finance processes, ERP systems, and policies for scalability and compliance. You will oversee accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance while implementing strong internal controls, risk management, and governance practices. Managing treasury operations, cash flows, and working capital to support supply chain financing needs will also be a key aspect of your role.

In terms of Business Partnering & Commercial Finance, you will work closely with supply chain, procurement, and operations teams to optimize pricing, vendor payments, and credit cycles. Monitoring and enhancing unit economics, providing data-driven insights to improve efficiency, evaluating partnerships, new product categories, and geographic expansion from a financial perspective will be essential.

Your Leadership & Team Building responsibilities will include building and leading a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of ownership, agility, and accountability within the finance function, and representing the company externally with investors, bankers, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
