Chief Financial Officer - eCommerce

Location: Bengaluru | Experience: 15-20 years

Role Overview:

We are looking for a strategic and execution-oriented CFO to partner with the founders in scaling the business and preparing for a successful IPO. The role will own the entire finance function, drive financial performance, and build a public-company-ready organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive overall financial strategy, planning, and performance management

- Lead FP&A, controllership, treasury, taxation, and compliance

- Partner with business teams to improve unit economics, margins, and EBITDA

- Own IPO readiness, governance, and investor relations

- Lead fundraising (equity/debt) and capital structure optimization

- Drive commercial finance: pricing, vendor negotiations, and cost efficiency

- Build scalable finance systems, controls, and automation

- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory frameworks

- Lead M&A and corporate development initiatives

- Build and mentor a high-performing finance organization

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- CA (First Attempt); MBA/CFA preferred

- 15-20 years of experience in finance leadership roles

- Strong experience in consumer, retail, e-commerce, or fintech sectors

- Proven track record in fundraising, investor management, and IPO readiness

- Deep understanding of business finance, supply chain finance, and unit economics

- Experience in high-growth or startup environments preferred

- Strong leadership presence with ability to influence senior stakeholders
