Chief Financial Officer (CFO)Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our dynamic team. The CFO will play a key role in shaping the financial direction of the company, ensuring its financial health, and contributing to overall organizational success.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the companys overall goals and objectives.Collaborate with the executive team and shareholders to drive financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.Financial ReportingOversee the preparation and analysis of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Present financial reports to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.Risk ManagementIdentify and assess potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.Cash Flow ManagementManage cash flow effectively, optimizing working capital and liquidity.Implement strategies to enhance the companys cash position and minimize financial risks.Investment And Capital ManagementEvaluate investment opportunities and advise on potential acquisitions or divestitures.Optimize the companys capital structure to support growth and profitability.Tax Planning And ComplianceLead tax planning initiatives to optimize the organizations tax position while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the organization, providing proactive recommendations.Financial LeadershipLead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support cross-functional initiatives.Financial Systems And ProcessesEvaluate and enhance financial systems and processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA is highly desirable.8-12 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, with a focus on strategic financial management.Proven experience in developing and executing financial strategies that align with organizational goals.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executive leadership, stakeholders, and team members.In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.Experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
