About the Role

As a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Shilpa Machinery, your role will involve managing all financial activities including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Your expertise in professional accounting principles as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be essential in developing strategies aligned with the business objectives. You will implement accounting processes, monitor the accounting team, prepare financial reports, check general ledger entries, provide accounting support, assess financial discrepancies, and suggest measures to prevent fraudulent activities. Your responsibilities will also include preparing tax returns, tracking tax liabilities, and providing expertise in tax-related matters. Moreover, you will liaise with clients, auditors, and vendors to ensure accurate information dissemination.

Key Responsibilities: - Maintaining proper accounting records - Assessing financial risks and suggesting preventive measures - Liaising with clients, business partners, auditors, and vendors

  • • Ensuring complete compliance with state authorities

  • • Offering expert financial advice and services to clients

  • • Investigating and rectifying any financial discrepancies

  • • Conducting internal and external audits

  • • Preparing budgets, annual reports, and strategies

  • • Advising clients on financial transactions, mergers, and acquisitions

  • • Analyzing the companys financial systems and procedures

  • • Processing online payments and bank statements

  • • Preventing or suggesting ways to stop any fraudulent activities

  • • Negotiating monetary terms with vendors

  • • Providing assistance with tax planning
  • Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field

  • • Certified Public Accountant or accredited to a reputed institution

  • • ACA qualification or equivalent is desirable

  • • 3 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or proven work experience at a Chartered Accountants workplace

  • • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

  • • Impressive oral and written communication skills

  • • Ability to manage stressful situations effectively

  • • Good mathematical skills

  • • Strong leadership qualities
