About the Role
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the QSR Division of a leading Indian food & beverage brand, you will play a crucial role in driving financial excellence and long-term value creation during a phase of accelerated growth and international expansion. Your responsibilities will include:
Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining and driving long-term financial strategy aligned with domestic scale-up and international expansion.
- Leading capital allocation decisions for new store rollouts, format expansion, and overseas market entry.
- Evaluating franchise, JV, and partnership models from a financial and governance perspective.
- Acting as a financial advisor to the Business Head and Board on strategic decisions.
- Driving annual operating plans, budgeting, and rolling forecasts across outlets and regions.
- Monitoring KPIs including same-store sales growth, gross margins, working capital, and cash flow.
- Leading accounting, FP&A, treasury, taxation, audit, compliance, and MIS functions.
- Ensuring timely closure of books and accurate reporting to leadership.
- Establishing robust financial controls across inventory, procurement, outlet cash management, and supply chain.
- Driving structured margin improvement initiatives across product mix, procurement, and operations.
- Improving cost visibility at outlet and SKU level.
- Partnering with procurement and operations teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Leading financial planning for international expansion including market entry strategy.
- Managing FX exposure, overseas compliance, and cross-border structuring.
- Supporting evaluation of acquisitions, alliances, or new business formats.
- Building and scaling a high-performance finance organization.
- Institutionalizing systems, processes, and digital finance tools.
- Mentoring finance leaders and instilling strong financial discipline across business teams.
